Your information, respected
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026. Verdance Studio (Toronto, Ontario) follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact and booking forms: your name, email, phone (optional), brand or wedding details, services, budget, dates and message.
- Client questionnaire: your answers, any files you upload (images, logos, PDFs) and your agreement signature.
- Newsletter: your email address, handled by our email provider MailerLite.
- Basic analytics: anonymous page views and visit counts, without advertising trackers. Spam protection keeps a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to 24 hours.
Why we use it
To reply to your inquiry, plan and deliver your project, send the newsletter you asked for, protect our forms from spam and understand how the site is used. We only use your information for these purposes.
How it's stored
Submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database; uploaded files are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Only the Verdance team can access it. Our service providers may store data outside Canada under equivalent protections.
How long we keep it
Inquiries we don't proceed with are deleted within 12 months. Client project records are kept for up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do anytime from any email.
We never sell your data
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the studio (hosting, email and MailerLite), and only as needed.
Cookies
We only use essential browser storage (for example, to remember your language or questionnaire progress). Any non-essential cookies load only if you choose Accept in our cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by writing to create@verdancestudio.com. We respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
